AccommodationOur primary accommodation consists of four versatile self-contained apartments and ten shared sleeping units (four berth). One of these shared units has been adapted for use by people in wheelchairs.The self-contained apartments are often used by the organisers, teachers or guests with special needs. They include: The ChaletThree minutes walk from the main complex, is surrounded by hillside bush with a stunning view of Acacia Bay and the Lake. Ideal for one or two in cosy seclusion, with kitchenette, double bed, toilet\shower room, and verandah. The 2 Bedroom CottageThe 2 bedroom cottage offers a lounge, kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedroom, fold-down couch for one, and shower\bathroom; and is overlooking our organic gardens. The 1 Bedroom CottageThe 1 bedroom cottage has a lounge and shower/bathroom, a bedroom with a queen size bed that can unzip to make 2 singles and has a single bed in the lounge and also overlooks our organic gardens. The FlatAdjacent to the Meeting Room, has a double bed, single bed and fold down couch for one, kitchen, shower\bathroom; plus southern views of the lake and volcanoes. Main Hall or Meeting RoomMarae-style accommodation is possible in our main hall or meeting room, depending on the nature of your gathering. For this purpose we have 35 foam mattresses. For groups up to 14 participants we can also provide pillows. Larger groups provide their own pillows and bedding. Camping/CaravansThere are nine power points for caravans, and there is also a large campsite area for tents. BeddingA pillow, pillowcase, sheets, duvet or continental quilt, two blankets and one towel are provided for each person in the 55 beds available in our units and self contained accommodation. Marae style participants as well as campers and caravans provide their own bedding. Bathroom FacilitiesThere are four washrooms with two showers, two toilets and three basins in each. One of these is modified for wheelchair use. Additional toilets are located in the foyer adjacent to the Main Hall. |
