Calendar of Events

Please note that some of these events are private gatherings while others are open to general registration. Even though the calendar may appear to be fully booked in places, the programme is subject to change. There is often the opportunity for private retreats, or small groups to be at Tauhara while other groups are using some of the facilities. There is usually space during the week for private retreatants and small groups. It is important that you contact the Centre to ensure that there is space for you.

March 16-18	The Courage to Lead Courage to Lead® retreats are based on the ‘circle of trust’ model developed by Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal, www.couragerenewal.org, and which is described in Parker’s book, ‘A Hidden Wholeness’. This Introductory Courage to Lead® Retreat is the first to take place in New Zealand, and will be facilitated by Dr Janet Smith from Australia. New leadership is needed for new times, but it will not come from finding more wily ways to manipulate the external world. Our festival is a unique, 10-day community experience blending the traditional Christmas and New Year festivities with a universal spiritual approach. Families and single people, young and old living in heart-centred community will provide a rich environment to enable us to nurture and support ourselves and care for one another.
