You are welcome to visit Tauhara and use the facilities such as the library and the sanctuary even if there is a group using the Centre. Phone us first to arrange a time if you would like to be met and shown around.

Arrival by Air

If you arrive at the Taupo airport phone (07) 378 5428, you will need to ring the taxi/shuttle phone 0800 654 875 for the 12 km ride to Tauhara.

Arrival by Bus

If you are travelling by Intercity or Newman's coach (0800 731 711 to book), you will arrive at the Taupo Travel Centre (07) 378 9032, where you can obtain a taxi or rental car.
