Volunteer Workers at TauharaTauhara is a New Zealand member of WWOOF (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) and as such we welcome people from all walks of life to join us.Tauhara has lodge accomodation for short term work exchange (1 - 6 weeks). Accomodation and meals are provided, and Wwoofers work approx 5 hours per day. The type of work varies, you may be assisting our lovely Chef Stan to prepare the delicious meals, or general housekeeping (cleaning) or gardening, according to your interests and the needs of the Centre. Please make contact first. One week minimum stay would be helpful, however we encourage people to stay longer by mutual agreement. Our Living in Community Programme enables folk of all ages to stay for longer periods part payment/part energy exchange. No Experience Necessary - Open Hearts and willing hands are especially welcome! Please call if you feel drawn to experience this beautiful centre!!!

We are located near Lake Taupo, and all the attractions this bustling activities hub has to offer, from bungee jumping to sky diving, kayaking to Maori carvings to exploring thermal craters. And in the winter, skiing and snowboarding are just a short drive away at some of New Zealand's best loved slopes. |
