Volunteer Workers at TauharaTauhara Centre is a New Zealand member of WWOOF (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) and other work exchange agencies, such as HelpX, and as such we welcome people from all walks of life and all ages to join us. Please note, however, that membership of work exchange schemes is not a pre-requisite for participating in work exchange at Tauhara. Many people are referred here by word of mouth. All we require are an open heart, and willing hands.Tauhara has lodge accomodation for short term work exchange (1 - 6 weeks). Accomodation and meals are provided, and exchange volunteers work approx 5 hours per day. The type of work varies, you may be assisting our lovely Chef Stan to prepare the delicious meals, or general housekeeping (cleaning) or gardening, according to your interests and the needs of the Centre. Please make contact first. We encourage volunteers to come for one week, which is open for extension if mutually agreed upon. Our Living in Community Programme enables folk of all ages to stay for longer periods part payment/part energy exchange. No experience necessary - open hearts and willing hands are especially welcome! Please call if you feel drawn to experience this beautiful centre!!!
